Acupressure for Relieving Anxiety & Stress

Calming Points for Sleep & Emotional Healing
There’s so much anxiety, tension, and stress in today’s world — we all have to deal with daily pressures and responsibilities. You know, the world would be a better place if more people knew Acupressure, especially its calming points.

Most people hold in their stress, and their body stores it as internal pressures and muscular tension. This imbalances your body over time, resulting in emotional distress and so many stress-related disorders.

To learn these special points, watch the video above, and hold them along with me. Further in this article, you’ll find written instructions and photos to show you how to use these valuable points.

How to Use Anxiety Relief Points
Hold each of these Acupressure points for a few minutes while you take long, deep breaths. You can use them throughout the day, any time you’re nervous or need to deal with stress, and also if you just want to feel better.

P 6, called the Inner Gate, is located three finger-widths down from the center of your wrist crease, in between your bones and tendon cords. This Acupressure emotional healing point balances your feelings, perceptions, and inner awareness. It also calms your body to sleep better to balance your internal condition. Breathe deeply as you hold the point on either side.
Sea of Tranquility
Acupressure Point CV 17
CV 17, known as the Sea of Tranquility, is on the center of your breastbone, in an indentation or dip in the bone. Hold this emotional healing point and breathe deeply to relieve anxiety or nervousness. This Acupressure point has an immediate calming effect when you’re tense, in emotional distress, or under some kind of pressure or stress. It's beneficial to end Acupressure routines with this calming point to sleep better. Hold CV 17 as a final balancing step.

CV 17 for emotional balancing also relieves anguish, depression, grief, and loneliness. The Sea of Tranquility nourishes the heart, opens your breath capacity by releasing tension in the chest and muscles that connect with the respiratory system.

As you hold these calming points concentrate on taking slow, deep breaths into your heart.
