I am excited to show you how to use an Acupressure point, known as the Third Eye point, that has so many healing benefits — physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.
Lightly touching this Third Eye point (GV 24.5) opens the homeostatic mechanisms of the pituitary gland, the body’s master gland of the endocrine system, which is vital for obtaining radiant health and for counteracting hundreds of “dis~eases.” You’ll be healthier and more able to obtain greater peace, spiritual fulfillment, inner strength, and happiness.
Physically, the Third Eye point can relieve pain, chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia, headaches, and even an upset stomach. It helps to balance your pituitary and thyroid glands and to boost the immune system. Emotionally, it’s helpful for frustration, depression, mood swings, overwhelm, and addictions. Mentally, it can relieve mental stress and confusion. Spiritually, the Third Eye point can cultivate your spirituality and increase your intuition.
I’m giving you instructions for three different techniques for using this powerful point. Try them all and enjoy the many benefits of this special Third Eye point.
Exercise #1 — Basic Self-Acupressure for GV 24.5
Close your eyes and gently hold this Acupressure point, located just above the bridge of your nose, with your middle fingertip. Continue for a couple of minutes while taking several slow, deep breaths.
Mediate on this Acupressure point by putting your attention between your eyebrows where you are touching your forehead.
You can do this any time you want to balance and calm yourself, and give yourself a break from daily stress.
Exercise #2 — Heighten your Intuition, Spirituality & Mental Clarity
Start by sitting comfortably and letting your eyes close. Place the palms of your hands together in front of your nose. Allow your head to gently move forward, and relax your neck. Let your index and middle fingers gently touch this Acupressure point between your eyebrows.
Stay on this point, while you practice the following movement meditation.
Inhale deeply, bringing your elbows and head upward with a smooth, easy motion. Exhale fully, as your head and elbows slowly relax down, while keeping your fingertips on the point. Repeat this deep breathing, movement meditation for two or three minutes. You can increase the practice time up to five minutes.
Keep your concentration on this point as you breathe deeply to achieve great results.
Daily Practice Practice this movement meditation daily. Consider doing it twice a day for a few weeks if you are in recovery from grief, trauma, surgery, an injury, substance abuse, or if you just want to discover its remarkable benefits.
Exercise #3 — Promoting Emotional & Spiritual Intimacy
Give someone you love a wonderful, uplifting experience with this spiritual Acupressure point. Ask your spouse or lover to sit comfortably, with his or her eyes closed, and breathe slowly and deeply. Position yourself as close to them as you can. Place one of your hands over the back of your partner’s head. Kiss the Third Eye point (GV 24.5), using firm suction with your lips, for one or two minutes. Breathe deeply through your nose.
Adapt It for the Person If you partner is sensitive, suck very gently and lightly. However, if your partner is more intense, then make the suction strong to create a more focused experience. Giving your partner this special spiritual boost can uplift both of your spirits.
Share This Healing Point with Others
Once you actually experience the power of this self-healing Acupressure practice, you’ll be able to teach it to others. Just follow the above instructions, using slow, deep breathing and concentrating on this remarkable Acupressure point. Sharing this with others can be a great gift to them, to help relieve their pain, health problems, and emotional burdens.
Imagine a world where many people experience these benefits. What would it be like if people of all ages and all economic circumstances, families, and even our corporate, political, and military leaders, would do this practice? It’s a pleasant journey, with simple, easy-to-do Acupressure. It doesn’t cost anything, you can do it any time, and each time it’ll uplift you more.
Please make a vow to yourself to practice this often, to generate healing energy, balance your hormones, and to maintain a state of good health so you’ll be able to give to others. This is your birthright, but only you can do it.
